New Public partnered with Baker Street Quarter Partnership to develop the district’s first Cultural Strategy - a long-term framework designed to enrich the area through shared cultural experiences.
Rooted in Baker Street and Marylebone’s rich heritage and cultural assets, from Chiltern Street to Portman Square Gardens, alongside institutions such as The Wallace Collection, The Bomb Factory Art Foundation and Madame Tussauds, the strategy was shaped through close collaboration with local partners and the wider community.
Through deep research, asset mapping and stakeholder engagement, New Public defined a clear curatorial vision, guiding principles and an eight-year action plan outlining short-, medium- and long-term opportunities for cultural growth.
This marks an exciting step toward a more vibrant, connected and culturally expressive district.
