'‘Lobster Yards’ by Philip Colbert marked New Public’s boldest public art project to date, transforming Borough Yards in the heart of London’s cultural quarter into a surreal lobster playground of colour, imagination and connection. The installation featured five over two-metre sculptures, playful vinyl interventions across floors and facades, and two exclusives - the world premiere of Colbert’s four-metre Seated Lobster Inflatable and the UK debut of Lobster Shark. The project celebrated Colbert’s belief in publicly accessible, democratic art, bringing his hyper-pop universe beyond the gallery and into the public realm.
